Technical Details:
Seat: The saddle seat is made of 500D Cordura. It is strong yet lighter than the 1000D Cordura. The seat equation has been changed to give a slightly bigger pleat than before for more seat underneath you and a better contour fit. It is the most comfortable seat Aero Hunter has made so far.
Frame: The saddle frame is made from 1.75” Parachute webbing and wrapped with 1000D Cordura at the attachment points. The bridge loop attachment points are colored to signify the life safety attachment point. The Parachute webbing is 5,000 lb. test strength.
Waist Belt: The waist belt is made with 1.75” Parachute webbing and the buckle is a 1.75” Austria Alpin adjustable click buckle. The Parachute webbing is 5,000 lb. test strength and the buckle is rated at 18kN. The leg buckles flow from the waist belt and are suspended with bungee cord up to the bridge loops. This helps to manage the weight and movement of them when walking in and putting on the saddle. With the
waist belt cinched it is the tightest part of the saddle on your body so it is the best place to carry the buckle weight with out feeling it.
D Belt: The D loop belt is made using 1” nylon webbing and 1000D Cordura at the attachment points. The D loop attachment points are colored to signify the life safety attachment points. The 1” nylon webbing is 4,000 lb. test strength.
Bridge: The bridge is made from 1” tubular webbing and uses a 1” Austria Alpin frame buckle set for adjustment. The tag end of the bridge has a sewn eye to allow for a back up connection using an extra carabiner (not included). The nylon webbing is 4,000 lb. test strength and the buckle is rated at 15kN.
Lineman's Belt: The lineman's belt is made of 1” tubular webbing and uses a 1” Austria Alpin frame buckle set for adjustment. It comes with a Fusion auto locking carabiner rated at 24kN. The webbing is rated at 4,000 lb. test strength and the frame buckles are rated at 15kN.
Tether: The tether is made of 1” tubular webbing and uses a 1” Austria Alpin frame buckle set for adjustment. It has an eye with a webbing slidelock. It comes with a Fusion auto locking carabiner rated at 24kN. The webbing is 4,000 lb. test strength and the frame buckles are rated at 15kN.
Back Band: The back band is made with 500D Cordura and uses 550 paracord configured with a small prusik for adjustment and comes with a Rock Exotica 5kN accessory carabiner for an easy, strong connection.
Pocket Bags: The pocket bags are made with mesh and Cordura fabric. It has a pleat in the front for volume and is flat on the backside to lay against your body. They attach with a webbing tab.
